■ Do you like reading self-help book? = Do you like to read self-help book? self help book은 self improvement book(자기 개발서)이라고도 해요. think and grow rich (생각하고 부자가 되라), The power of positive thinking (긍정적인 생각의 힘), the magic of thinking big (크게 생각하는 매직)등등 사람들의 개인적인 문제들을 풀어주기 위한 책이예요.■ I used to read some, (but I don't anymore) use to는 과거에 ~해곤 했는데 지금은 안 한다는 의미가 이미 담겨져 있기 때문에 뒷 문장 but I don't anymore는 필요없죠? some = some self-help books.■ I feel like they are other people's stories. 여기서는 other people stories가 아니라 people's stories 라고 소유격으로 만들어서 말해야 된다는것 조심하면 되겠네여. they = some self-help books. ■ I don't like books that people brag about their lives in. 잉? 대다수의 사람들이 in이 도대체 왜 들어가 있나하고 의아해 할텐데요. 한번 이 문장을 분석해 볼게요. that을 그냥 in which로 한번 바꿔버리면 머리에 더 쏙쏙 들어와서 이해하기 쉬울것 같네요.I don't like books in which people brag about their lives. in which = in books. [나는 책들을 싫어한다+그 책들 속에는(in which) 사람들이 그들의 삶에 대해 자랑한다] 그래서 I don't like books that people brag about their lives in은 이 문장을 구어체로 정렬하여 만들은거라고 생각하세요.■ Do you know who she is? 이 문장도 Do you know who is she?라고 실수를 범하는 사람들이 많을것 같은데요. know 절 이후에는 평서문으로 정렬해서 말해야 한다는 것 조심하면 좋겠네요.
