■ It has a great deal of European architecture. a great deal of에 대해 좀더 자세히 알고 있으면 좋겠네요. 1) 많은사람들이 much 다음에는셀수없는명사(uncountable nouns) 가 와야만 한다고 알고 있지만 이것은 완벽하게 맞는 것은 아닙니다. Every month, I spend much money on food ( X ) 매달 나는 많은 돈을 음식에 쓴다. In Canada, I have much time to relax. ( X )카나다에서 나는 릴랙스할 많은 시간이 있다. 위의 두 문장은 much 다음에 셀수 없는 명사(money, time)가 왔더라도 틀린 문장입니다. "Much" 는 조금 특별한 규칙이 있다는 걸 알아야합니다. much는 보통 혼자 사용되지 않고, "too much", "so much", "not + much", "much + more / -er / less", "much + ? ", "as much ... as", "(not)+very much" 처럼 다른 수식하는 단어와 함께 사용되는 특징이 있습니다. 아래 예문을 보면 잘 이해가 되실 겁니다. These days, I seem to spend too much time relaxing. 요즘 나는 릴랙스하는 데 너무 많은 시간을 보내는 것 같다.
