☆what do you normally do on Sundays? normally는 usually와 동의어 이구요, Sundays라고 복수를 사용한것은 every Sunday를 의미해서 그렇습니다. Mcdonald같은 fast food restaurant에서 파는 아이스크림 종류에 sundae라는게 있는데 Sunday와 발음이 똑같네요. ☆Sunday is my day of rest.에서 직장이나 가게를 쉬는 날은 day off 라고 해요.Saturday is his day off. 우스개소리로 나 일요일날 놀아. 하고 I play on Sunday하면 콩글리쉬가 되는 거죠. ☆ sleep in은 늦게까지 자는 것을 말하는데 sleep단어와 관련해서 긁어 부스럼을 만들지 말라라는 관용어가 생각나네요.Let sleeping dogs lie. 직역하면 잠자는 개들을 그냥 놔두라는 의미이죠.☆brunch는 breakfast+lunch라고 몇달전에 나온걸로 기억되네요.☆something like that은 stuff like that이라고도 많이 회화에서 쓰입니다.

1. Sleep in : (평소보다) 푹 잔다, 늘어지게 잔다는 뜻이죠. 2. What do you do? = What do you do for a living? = What is your job? = What’s your occupation? 당신 직업이 뭐에요?입니다. 본문에서는 do 다음에 on Sundays? 라고 시점을 특정해 주고 있으니까 직업 대신 그야말로 ‘일요일에 하는 일’을 물어보고 있는거구요. 3. get up과 wake up의 차이점 많이 했었는데요. 이 예문, 예전에 '멋쟁이 안영란'님이 주셨는데. 비교하기 아주 좋아요. I woke up at 7 am, but I got up at 7:30 this morning. 오늘아침, 나는 7시에 눈을 떴지만, 7시 반에 자리에서 박차고 일어났지.
