1. 발음포인트//★take a look at /테이꺼 루깻/ ★read through /뤼읻 th루/ ★could be better /쿠욷비 베러ㄹ/ 2. 내용포인트// ■ take a look (at) = have a look (at) ■read through는 ~을 처음부터 끝까지 (all over) 읽다. 보통 through라는 개념이 전치사나 부사로 주로 활용되는데, 여기서 중요한건 시간이나 장소(밑줄)에 활용된다는 점입니다. 장소로 쓰일땐: 한쪽 끝에서 다른쪽 끝까지. 시간의 개념일땐 : 시작부터 끝나는 시간까지. 그런 개념의 총칭입니다. ■not too bad나오고 있는데, 원어민들이 굉장히 많이 씁니다. how are you? Not too bad 그럭저럭이야. (so-so는 많이 하지 않는다는거) ■could be 나오고 있는데 = able to be입니다. 그래서 be동사 뒤에 형용사도 취하고 명사도 취할수 있죠? 그래서 원어민들이 많이 쓰는 패턴은 could be better ↔ could be worse. That could be me. 그게 나일걸요? 오늘은 보고서에 관한 내용이네여.■Did you take a look at my report?이문장을 Did you look at my report?라고 해도 좋습니다. 구어체에서는 look를 명사로 더 즐겨 써요. 그 이유는 형용사를 넣어 명사를 묘사하기가 더 수월하기 때문이죠. look at it hard보다 take a hard look at~ 이 더 문장이 더 깔끔해 보이죠.■ read through는 내용을 확인하기 위해 꼼꼼히 읽거나 다 읽는것을 말해요. through가 끝까지나 철저히란 부사이잔아요.I read[렏] through the book.하면 그책 다 읽었다라는 말이구요.■What do you think?어떻게 생각하세요?라는 말인데 어떻게 가 있으니까 How do you think? 라고 하면 완전히 의미가 틀려지니 조심하셔야 되요.
