✒I can't stand the wait = I can't wait any longer. stand는 서다가 아니라 참다라는 의미로 bear, endure, tolerate 정도가 동의어죠. I can't put up with it any longer도 도저히 참을수 없다는 표현이에요.?I am having trouble holding myself back. trouble은 고생이 아니라 problem의 의미죠. trouble이 수고라는 뜻도 있어요.
